Description

NutriPATH offer an extensive range of gastrointestinal test profiles to assist and provide a practitioner with the flexibility in deciding the most appropriate test analyses for the patient.
The CDSA test can assist physicians to develop earlier, more effective preventive interventions, improve the timing and precision of treatments and reduce the risk of clinical relapse in certain groups of patients. It will also allow physicians to better evaluate and document the medical necessity for more invasive procedures such as colonoscopy.

The CDSA Level 3 expands on the CDSA Level 2 with the addition of added digestive and metabolic markers such as pancreatic elastase (PE-1). The CDSA level 3 test is recommended for patients with diffuse and non-specific GI-related symptoms such as IBS, indigestion, dysbiosis, constipation, and diarrhoea. This profile also includes sensitivity testing meaning that when colonising bacteria or mycoses/yeasts are detected, they are tested against a panel of natural anti-microbial and prescription anti-fungal agents to assist the practitioner in selecting what treatment will be most effective for the patient. It is recommended to add a DNA Multiplex PCR (2002) test to any CDSA level if you suspect parasites.
